1st Snow Trip

Chance getting bundled up...

Next up, slide time!!

Plenty of fun in the snow.  

(Like bombarding daddy with snowballs)  Mommy very strategically had the camera most of the time.  He he.

We had to take a break & have some hot cocoa.

 Take a moment to note the hill in the background, that was our next conquest.

Ron & Sky at the top of said hill.  They are ready to slide down it.

 They don't really go far or fast but have a good time anyway.  Stopping at a plateau.

Now it's mommy & Bubba's turn.  Fully expecting to have to skooch our way down much like Dad & Sky. 

Aaaand here we are flying right by the nice plateau...

Mommy is thinking a few choice words, wondering if we are going to be launched onto, into,  or under, a car....

We come to rest of the bottom of the ledge with a very unceremonious thud!

Sky came over to check us out, unbury us etc.

As the previous pics indicate, it was getting pretty stormy.  So we decided to pack it up & head home.

We got the kids out of their snow gear & packed 'em up. 

Look at those beautiful, innocent,  rosey cheeks.  (When did my 3 yr old start throwing gang signs??)

Looks like our timing for heading out was good.

All in all a fantastic 1st trip to the snow.  :0)
